PartyЯ doesn’t collect any personal data. Nothing is sent to us: what PartyЯ stores stays on your own devices and in your own iCloud. There’s no account with us, no tracking and no ads.
What stays on your own devices
The queue, the names guests may enter with a request, your settings, and which songs you have blocked or trimmed are stored on your own Apple TV, or in phone mode on your iPhone or iPad. They are not sent to us.
What goes through your own iCloud
If you use PartyЯ on more than one Apple TV with the same Apple ID, playlists, favourites, blocks and trimmed songs are shared via your own iCloud. We can’t access them.
YouTube, Apple Music, Spotify, Plex, Jellyfin, Emby and Home Assistant
If you use Plex, Jellyfin or Emby, PartyЯ talks to your own media server to play your clips. Only the Plex link also contacts plex.tv. If you play Plex clips through Infuse in phone mode, your iPhone signs in to Plex itself. PartyЯ operates other apps on your Apple TV, such as YouTube, Infuse, the Music app (Apple Music) and Spotify, like a remote: it opens the song in that app, and that app plays it with your own account and subscription. Music from TIDAL, Deezer and Qobuz runs through Music Assistant in your own Home Assistant. When you search one of these services, the search goes straight to that service: for YouTube with your own key, for Spotify through your own Spotify connection. PartyЯ does not send that data anywhere else. Traffic between PartyЯ, your Apple TV and Home Assistant stays on your own network. These services have their own terms.
The guest page
The guest page runs on your own Wi-Fi: on the Apple TV, on your iPhone or iPad in phone mode, or through Home Assistant. Guests don’t need an account or an app. Entering a name is optional.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no ads. Fonts and images are hosted on this site itself; nothing is loaded from third parties. Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs, such as the IP address and the time of a visit, so that problems can be fixed.
